Common questions

Before you call.

Quick answers to what most Memphis homeowners ask before booking. If yours isn't here, call or text. We answer the phone even when we're on a job.

Most interior rooms are one to two days each. A full interior of three or four bedrooms usually runs four to six days. Full exterior repaints are typically three to seven days depending on the size of the home, the weather, and how much prep it needs. You'll get exact dates at the estimate and we confirm the day before.

For most interior jobs, no. We just need access: keys, a code, or a check-in once a day. We move and cover furniture ourselves and lock up before we leave each evening. If there are pets or small children, tell us in advance and we'll plan around them.

Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore, premium lines only. Interiors are typically low-VOC so the house is easier to live in while we work. Exteriors get weather-rated coatings built for long Memphis summers and humid winters. The specific product depends on the surface, and we'll talk it through at the estimate.

A small deposit secures your spot on the schedule, and the balance is due after your final walkthrough. We take cash, check, Zelle and major cards. Larger projects can be split into stage payments. We'll set that up when we write the quote.

Prep is the difference between a three-year paint job and a ten-year one. We fill nail holes and cracks, sand rough spots, caulk gaps, and prime bare or stained surfaces. On exteriors we power wash, scrape loose paint and deal with any wood rot before a topcoat goes anywhere near the house.

Yes. Licensed for Tennessee residential work and fully insured with general liability coverage. We're happy to email proof of both before we start.

Yes. We'll talk through what works for your light and your fixed elements (floors, counters, trim) and we can drop off Sherwin-Williams or Benjamin Moore color cards. For big decisions we recommend testing one or two sample swatches on the actual wall first.

For homes built before 1978, federal RRP rules apply. We follow lead-safe work practices on those jobs and document the work as required. We'll raise it openly during the estimate so there are no surprises later.

It depends on the season. Spring and fall are busy. Winter interiors usually have a one to two week lead time, and summer exteriors often book three to four weeks out. We'll tell you the next available start date at the estimate.
